Jimmy wins the 2024 Race Across America!
After pedaling the 3,063 miles from Oceanside, Jimmy rode onto the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk as the first-place Solo Male Under 50 rider and overall solo winner of the 2024 Race Across America. His time of 8 Days, 18 hours, and 11 minutes is the fastest since 2019 when 6-time solo winner Christoph Strasser (Austria) won the race. Jimmy’s fast finish is all the more impressive considering this was his first RAAM, “I’m a rookie. My team is all rookies. But we did our homework, read about it, and studied about it. So it felt like I thought it would. To ride your bike across a continent is really quite crazy.”

On July 22th, Jimmy crossed the finish line in Warsaw as the winner of Race around Poland, and the winner of the first WUCA ultra cycling world championships! Jimmy rode an almost perfect race, and took a convincing lead on day three after successfully chasing down Rainer Steinberger to gain the first spot. “To me, anyone that managed to finish the 3618km route is a winner!” Jimmy says. “This was an extremely challenging race with a really though parcourse where I, and my five person team, was forced to dig deeper than ever before to reach the finish line. Also, kudos to Reiner and his awesome team. they rode a great race, and I believe we put up a hell of a show all the way to the end!” Jimmy completed the 3618km course in 163 hours, 26 minutes and 35 seconds.

2021 – New FKT on Length of Sweden
The start of my Ultracycling journey! In June 2021 I made an attempt to beat the record of the length of Sweden: Smygehuk-Treriksröset, 2040 km and 14000 vm. Our plan worked perfectly, and I managed to shave 9 hours off the old record and set a new fastest known time (FKY) at 73h:37min. What an experience, worldclass support in a small package. Cykelcity.se 2009-2019 – Vätternrundan 300 KM – “The world´s largest recreational bike event”
I’ve done this thing 10 times now and on numerous times on sub 7h as part of the fastest group. This event is a big thing in Sweden, and every year it attracts a great lineup of strong riders that push themselves to the limit to beat the course record. I love this race!
